Amidst this, she has two significant events coming up–Braemar Games and appointing the new Prime Minister next month–which would require her attendance. However, Mirror confirms that there would be a change in the plan of doing things in a traditional way as the monarch is not in the best of her health.

The Queen is carefully considering whether or not she will be able to attend the Braemar Games the following weekend due to growing fears regarding her mobility. A source confirmed:

The Highland Games are typically a high point in the monarch's summer calendar as she attends the event with the current prime minister. This year's competition will feature tug-of-war and caber-tossing matches amongst competitors in front of an audience for the first time after Covid.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge along with their kids–Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte– headed up to the Scottish estate last week. Meanwhile, the Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children Lady Louise and Viscount James also paid a visit to their great-grandmother during the summer break.
