One Frogmore for each son

Rumours swirling around the Royal properties say that Prince William and Kate may soon inherit a stunning 17th-century mansion from King Charles. According to The Sun, His Majesty is keen on passing on the Frogmore House to the new Prince and Princess of Wales!

Frogmore House – built in 1684 on the Windsor estate – was also the location of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding reception.Cosmopolitan confirms that the Sussexes’ house Frogmore Cottage is entirely different from Frogmore House but is on the same – Windsor – estate.

Apparently, the King finds the estate ‘too noisy’ as it is very close to Heathrow Airport and would prefer to use Buckingham Palace as his main residence instead. This comes as the monarch is currently reassessing the Royal properties and deciding on his major residences.

Will the couple take this offer?

A few days before Queen Elizabeth II’s death, Prince William and Kate moved into Adelaide Cottage in Windsor – a modest four-bedroom home as per royal standard. As such, it remains uncertain if the Wales family would accept the very tempting offer that is Frogmore House.

Hugh May created the original design of the residence that has a magnificent view of grass and a wide stream and is situated on the edge of Berkshire, half a mile south of the castle. Meanwhile, a royal source confirms:

Nothing is set in stone. These are decisions the prince does not have to make yet.
