Thrown under the bus by Camilla
In his book, Prince Harry details his belief that Camilla traded stories about him to vindicate her image.
Indeed, Prince Harry told Anderson Cooper during his interview:
She was the villain. She was the third person in their marriage. She needed to rehabilitate her image.
According to him, Camilla was a 'dangerous' addition to the Royal Family because of what she was willing to do to change the public opinion of her.

Prince Harry claims:
With her (Camilla Parker-Bowles), on the way to being Queen Consort, there was gonna be people or bodies left in the street because of that.
And those bodies, Prince Harry believes, included himself. In his memoir, the Duke of Sussex claims that the future Queen Consort ‘sacrificed me on her personal PR altar’.
Although he apparently bears no grudge towards his stepmother despite having ‘complex feelings’ at the start.
He told Good Morning America:
I don't look at her as an evil stepmother. I see someone who married into this institution and has done everything that she can to improve her own reputation and her own image for her own sake.
Prince Harry claims he is willing to forgive many things, but for that to happen, there needs to be a conversation that 'isn't then spilled to the British press' and accountability.
Crossing the 'red line'
So far, of all the allegations Prince Harry has thrown at the Royal Family, they have upheld their motto of ‘say nothing’,despite what The Telegraph describes as their highly personal and potentially damaging nature. However, Camilla could be King Charles’ ‘red line’.
In an unexpected turn of events, a legal firm working for Buckingham Palace asked ABC and CBS for access to the Duke’s interview, saying it needed to know 'exactly what is said... and the context in which it appears' to respond.

A Royal source insisted that it was standard procedure, but speculation is accumulating that the Palace is concerned about something in particular that Prince Harry may have said, as per The Telegraph.
Has Prince Harry finally overstepped the mark? Would the Royal Family consider legal action against the wayward Prince to save faceagainst the damning allegations Harry has been throwing around?
Contemplating legal action?
In October 2022, iNews reported that the there was not much Palace lawyers could do prior to the book's publication to stop any embarrassing details being made public, however now that it's been published, they could try to have things changed.
A royal source also told the Daily Mirror that there was a high probability Palace lawyers were on 'standby' as they awaited to find out what would be in the book. However, the tabloid added that it was 'highly unlikely' that King Charles would 'wage a legal battle' against his son.
In addition, the request to access a copy of the interview was denied by both broadcasters.
