Soon after they had settled, in 2021, Prince Harry and Meghan gave a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, where they revealed the alleged abuse the two had endured whilst being in the UK. One of the most shocking claims made by Prince Harry and Meghan was that two members of the Royal Family were allegedly ‘concerned’ over how dark Archie’s skin would be, Harry and Meghan’s oldest child.

Now that Christmas is approaching, one family member is hoping everyone can put aside their feelings and spend the holidays together.

Sarah Ferguson is hoping for a family reunion

Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew’s ex-wife, was a guest on ITV’s show Lorraine, where she and the host discussed whether or not Prince Harry and Meghan would be at the Royal Family’s Christmas celebration.

The Duchess of York, who recently dealt with breast cancer, revealed that she would like the family to set aside their differences as it is Christmas, a time for happiness. She also talked about the message that Christmas films send and that the Royal Family should do the same.

She told Lorraire:

If we watch enough of these Christmas movies and sing enough of these Christmas songs...Can we just all have love, forgiveness and happiness and joy?

She added that the greatest gift anyone could get is ‘understanding, no judgement, no race, creed, colour or any other domination, just love’.

With the last statement, there is a high chance that Sarah Ferguson is referencing the current scandal surrounding Omid Scobie’s latest book.

If you have been following any Royal Family gossip, you will know the Dutch version of Omid Scobie’s latest book, Endgame, revealed the name of the two royals who were allegedly ‘concerned’ over Archie’s skin colour. According to the media, the two royals were Princess Kate and King Charles.

What does the Royal Family have planned for Christmas?

Despite the current scandal, Princess Kate’s Christmas Carol Service at Westminster Abbey will be taking place on Friday, December 8.

Prince William and Princess Kate will be joined by several other members of the Royal Family. The event is led by the Princess of Wales and will welcome several famous faces. This year’s Christmas Carol Service will be the third of its kind.

According to the New York Post, Prince Harry and Meghan have been invited to spend Christmas with the Royal Family at Sandringham, after five years of spending the holiday season apart.
