Numerous videos and pictures were taken of the royals that night by concert goers. These images were then used in the media and on social media to either fuel the divorce rumours or shut them down. However, one thing was for sure, one picture of Prince Harry went viral and it seemed like many agreed that the Prince looked ‘miserable.’

Now, a new video is out and it is clear that we can read anything into images. Prince Harry was not at all miserable.

Mainstream media calls Prince Harry ‘miserable’

After the couple was seen at Beyoncé’s concert, one picture of Prince Harry was utilised as a way to fuel the discourse around the idea that the Sussexes are unhappy.

Indeed, since they stepped down from their roles as senior members of the Royal Family in 2020, the press has relentlessly created rumours and read into little details in order to build the idea that the couple is on the rocks.

Many articles and tweets have been written about how Meghan Markle is holding Prince Harry hostage and that how he regrets leaving the Royal Family.

However, this has been going on for three years and the couple is showing no sign of a possible split.

Purposely ignoring the happy moments

While the images of Prince Harry looking a bit bored at the concert are real it is interesting to see what the media and Meghan haters are choosing to ignore.

From the same night, there are multiple pictures and videos of Prince Harry and Meghan looking at ease with each other, dancing, kissing, and having fun.

Evidence 1

When Beyoncé’s song Love On Top was played the couple danced together and hugged.

Evidence 2

In the video below, Prince Harry is seen taking a silly selfie which he quickly shows to his wife. The couple is close together and Meghan seems to be amused by her husband’s cheekiness.

Evidence 3

If this doesn’t prove that opinion can be imposed on images then we might have to stop writing. Indeed, while the popular thing to do was to broadcast this one picture of Prince Harry looking bored, the video below showing him having fun is not getting the same amount of attention from the media.

In Prince Harry’s defence, being at a Beyoncé concert is a rollercoaster of emotions. It is impossible to be dancing and smiling for two hours. Moreover, there are songs that he may not particularly like. And, as we’ve now seen, when Prince Harry likes something, he is not afraid to boogie down!

Why are the Sussexes’ happy moments so willingly ignored?
