'Last year was awful'
According to The Sun, Ekin-Su had told a friend before entering the hit matchmaking show that she found some of the islanders of series 8 to be downright 'pointless', 'annoying' and 'fake'. According to the source close to Ekin-Su, she said:
Last year was awful. The people on there were just dry, pointless, s**t personalities. I just couldn't believe them.
And specifically about last year's winners, Liam and Millie, she allegedly said:
Even the couple who won, Liam and Millie, even they were dry. I don’t know why they put people on like that.
And also added:
That Liberty girl was so annoying. Jake and Liberty were fake, you could see straight away he was playing the game.

If what the source close to Ekin-Su says is true, she most definitely did not hold back! The leggy beauty quickly became a fan favourite this series with iconic one-liners and just the right amount of drama to keep us wanting more.
Since the series wrapped up, she and Italian stallion, Davide Sanclimenti, were spotted enjoying dinner together in public for the first time since leaving the villa and the couple looked as adorable as ever. At one point, things got so steamy that paparazzi were able to snap some pictures of the two sharing a passionate kiss.
