He consequently became the youngest player to ever qualify to the World Darts Championship finals. After this momentous achievement Luke was captured by the camera having an emotional moment with his girlfriend Eloise Milburn. So, who is she?
Who is Eloise Milburn?
Eloise Milburn is a beauty consultant from Hursham, Surrey. She is also an avid fan of darts and player for her county’s women’s team. According to The Sun the couple ‘met through mutual friends online while playing FIFA on Xbox' and bonded over love for darts and football.
However, as their relationship is in its early stages as they have only been together for 6 weeks. Trolls on the internet found the timing and age gap suspicious and proceeded to accuse her of being ‘a gold digger’ who is interested in the money and fame of the 16-year-old.
According to The Sun Luke has already earned £200 000 from the competition and is set to pocket millions from brand deals despite his finals loss – during which he received the support of Romeo Beckham and girlfriend Mia Regan, who were in attendance at the Ally Pally.
Eloise’s Mom comments on the online chatter
The criticism targeting Eloise online reached a point that drove her mother Amanda Milburn to speak out on the matter. While speaking to Mail online she said:
There’s been a lot of horrible stuff being posted online about my daughter. My husband Phil and I are very angry about it
Eloise has been accused of all sorts and that she’s only with Luke because of his money and fame. But that’s a total pack of lies and disgusting.
She’s not with him for any of these reasons. She doesn’t care about his money or his fame, she’s with him because she likes him. It’s as simple as that.
