Singers always have their own way of telling people off. And the most common way to do this is through a well-made diss track. As per Hypebeast, Drake and Swift apparently recorded a diss track targeted at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in 2018.
The reason behind the diss track
West is someone who seems to be making headlines every day. He is known to have a turbulent relationship with so many artists. And both Drake and Swift fall under that category.
Swift’s rivalry with West started in 2009 at the VMAs when West upstaged Swift by interrupting her speech. Following this, Swift has had multiple spats with both West and Kardashian. Although the couple divorced, there still exists a song that is collectively aimed at them.
Written in the peak time of Swift’s feud with West, she is allegedly ready to release the song as part of the re-recording of her 2017 album Reputation.
The mysterious track
Audiences worldwide don’t know what to expect regarding this unlikely collaboration. As per The U.S. Sun, the song never saw the light of day because it is far more direct than the other songs on the album. The artist felt that everyone will know that the song is about Kardashian and West, as it was recorded during her row with the couple.
Despite all parties seeming totally over all the drama that ensued, rumor has it that Drake and Swift are finally ready for the world to hear that musical number.
