Layton Williams is understood to be the most envelope-pushing contestant to date and is ‘buzzing’ to be a part of the most iconic dance show on TV. The Bad Education star was reportedly measured for dresses as well as trousers and shirts as show bosses took into account his ‘personal preferences.’

A source told The Sun:

Layton has told BBC bosses he wants to be his authentic self while on the show - which includes wearing dresses should he see fit.
Of course, they agreed and the costume department are also measuring him up for them as well as other sparkling looks.

They added:

They see it as a total non-issue but are aware it could raise a few eyebrows in homes up and down the UK.
The bottom line is they want all the contestants to be comfortable during their routines and personal preferences are always taken into account.

Apart from his will to wear dresses as and when he sees fit, the 28-year-old star also wants to be paired up in a same-sex partnership on the show. The actor said:

I'm happy so long as it's a guy.
I want to dance with a man. I can't wait to get flung around and wear some glittery costumes.
