Artist and make-up mogul Rihanna is officially expecting her first child! The 33-year-old singer and businesswoman was photographed on the streets of New York last weekend alongside A$AP Rocky as she was showing off her beautiful growing baby bump to the public.

Her baby bump
The couple was captured over the weekend where Rihanna revealed her baby bump while wearing just a long pink down jacket. Her loose-fitting outerwear was unbuttoned at the bottom to reveal her growing belly which was adorned with a gold cross and colourful jewellery.

The love story of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky has fascinated fans since they went public in December 2020 and it’s definitely one for the books. The rapper told GQ magazine that he had found his soul mate and said:
It's so much better when you find the right one. She's, like, a million times more important than all the others. I think when you know, you know. She's the one.
Preparing for the moment
Although the news has come as a shocking surprise to most people, it looks as though Rihanna had been preparing for this very moment for some time now. In 2019, she said that it was her ‘dream to become a mother’ and added that she had started taking better care of her health. She said:
I'm definitely feeling a shift. I'm growing up. There's things that I'm paying attention to that I've never paid attention to. Like supplements. And working out. And hearing about my bones.
This was the first year she also revealed that she was in an exclusive relationship which could have very well been with A$AP Rocky. She said back then:
Yeah, I'm dating. I'm actually in an exclusive relationship for quite some time, and it's going really well, so I'm happy.

Who is A$AP Rocky?
A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Athelaston Nakache Mayers, was born on 3 October 1988 in Harlem, New York. Before becoming one of the most famous rappers, he suffered several tragedies in his life, including the death of his father at the age of 12 and the murder of his older brother the following year. In 2011 he released his first single called Peso which was an immediate success.
His album, Live. Love. A$AP was a hit and he began to hang out with major artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Alicia Keys, and Selena Gomez. Since 2013, he has maintained a professional relationship with Rihanna and has appeared in many of her videos.
Although we’re not sure when their relationship turned romantic, he has been proclaiming his love for the singer loud and clear since 2021.
