However, Molly-Mae has subtly put an end to all the comments in her latest YouTube. While talking about her work trip to the South of France, the PLT Creative Director confessed she’s ‘got bills to pay’ and so she’s back at work.

According to Ok Magazine, Molly-Mae went for her first photoshoot since Bambi’s birth in Nice where she spent two nights away from her daughter. Explaining her decision of getting back to her working life, the 23-year-old revealed:

At the end of the day, I am self-employed, so I have to work because there’s bills to pay.

She added:

We’ve got a mortgage to pay, car bills to pay. I’ve got outgoings. I have to earn.
I don’t get maternity leave pay. You don’t when you’re self-employed, so I have to get back to work.

She confessed that going on her first work trip after Bambi’s birth was a ‘big moment’ for her. She said:

I am so excited, but it’s a little bit bittersweet because it’s going to be my first time leaving my baby.

Molly-Mae's attempt to be a loving mother and working mom

The former Love Island star - who recently took a huge first step with Bambi - admitted that she wanted to take Bambi along with her for her two-day work trip. However, the logistics didn’t quite fit right and moving Bambi across countries like that also meant Tommy would miss her first flight experience. Before going on the trip, she said:

She’s three months old now. It’s low key making me feel kind of sick. I’m not going to lie. You know that kind of homesick feeling you’d get.

Talking about her wish to take Bambi along, she added:

I reflected and realised I was probably being a little bit selfish to take a whole flight to a whole new country. Tommy wouldn’t even be there to experience her first flight or anything.

Meanwhile, her fans praised the new mum for being so dedicated to her work and child. One commented:

Molly is such a brilliant mother to baby Bambi and also hard working. Massive likes
