Love Island’s Elom doesn’t want a relationship

Catherine may have thought that being with Elom is the right decision in the moment but her choice may have backfired on her. This comes as Elom hinted he doesn’t want a relationship right now, confirmed The Sun.

Speaking on reality with Will Njobvi podcast, Elom said he wants to focus on himself and doesn’t want a girlfriend right now. On being asked if he was looking for a relationship, Elom said:

Do you know what it is, like...

Catherine jumped in and asked:

Is that a no?

Elom continued:

Currently, I want to focus on myself. Coming out of the villa is like a thing where there's obviously a lot of light on both of us innit and we both need to focus on ourselves.
So I feel like, if we both focus on ourselves, in due time, we're still talking to each other, we're still bonding at the same time.
In due time, we're going to get to that stage. Do you understand? Does that make sense?

Catherine was evidently disappointed as she stated in her pre-show interview that she wants a relationship. She has never been in w relationship in her life and only gone through ‘situationships.’ She replied:

I went into Love Island because, you know, I do feel like I'm ready for relationship.
I'm ready to settle, I don't want to build someone, kind of thing. And I've always kind of said that.

Finding Elom in the villa gave her hopes that she might be a girlfriend someday soon, but that appears to be a distant dream for her.

Before getting booted from the show after a public vote, Elom confessed to Catherine that he’s still open to getting to know people or bombshells if they enter the villa. Seeing how their relationship has changed from what it was initially in Casa, fans are convinced Catherine lost a real deal with Scott for another short-term thing with Elom.
