Nicholas ‘Nick’ Riccio is a 60-year-old real estate mogul who made his fortune revitalising properties in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. Once facing homelessness, Riccio turned his life around by investing in and renovating derelict buildings.
His company, Riccio Enterprises LLC, has become a multi-million-pound business. Hampton police chief William Wrenn praised his efforts, saying:
Nick is renovating buildings to a point where families will be interested in coming in.
His properties are clean, they have new appliances and many nice renovations. He really is trying to change the image [of the area].
Riccio’s ambitions don’t stop at real estate. He has previously expressed dreams of owning a professional sports team. He said:
My work in real estate has helped facilitate my dream of owning a professional sports team
And that will happen one day in the near future.
While Riccio remains off social media, Leavitt occasionally shares glimpses of their life on Instagram. Her post from Christmas 2023 announced their engagement, reading:
The best Christmas of my life. I get to marry the man of my dreams. I feel SO overwhelmingly BLESSED. Thank you God.
A look into their relationship and 32-year age gap
The couple’s relationship reportedly began at a 2022 fundraising dinner for Leavitt’s congressional campaign, as revealed by People. Their romance escalated quickly: an engagement in 2023, a baby in 2024, and marriage in January 2025—just days before Donald Trump’s inauguration.
The age difference is a topic Leavitt has not shied away from. Speaking to Megyn Kelly in 2025, she called it ‘a very atypical love story’ and admitted initial hesitation. However, she added:
He is my greatest supporter, he’s my best friend and he’s my rock.
Riccio, 60, is five years older than Leavitt’s mother and only five years younger than her father, according to MSN. Yet Leavitt insists their bond is authentic. She shared with Kelly:
He’s built a very successful business himself so now he’s fully supportive of me building my success in my career.
Critics have noted Riccio’s absence from her office décor and sparse appearances on her social media. Leavitt explained:
He doesn’t have social media and he’s an introvert. I respect his privacy on here.
While rumours continue about the nature of their marriage—with some speculating it might be financially motivated—Leavitt has described Riccio as ‘the best dad, and just the best man I’ve ever met.’
