The boxer was the third to be eliminated from the show on May 2nd after a unanimous vote to be sent packing home.
Amir Khan’s preparation for I’m A Celeb
According to The Mirror, the retired millionaire boxer secretly underwent laser hair removal sessions before the show. The star got his chest hair removed to look more muscly on his I’m A Celeb South Africa brief stint.
After splashing the cash for his chest hair removal, he revealed:
I know it’s not masculine, but all my life when I’ve been fighting I’ve had a hairy chest, but I got it lasered recently.
People say, ‘You need to be a man, you need to have hair on your chest’, but I think it looks nice. It looks more clean and more defined. We want to see the definition of our muscles.
When we get whipped up we want to see the lines and definition and you can tell that when you don’t have the hair, so I’ve had it lasered.
Amir Khan’s regret
However, the star immediately revealed that he regrets getting his chest hair removed. Speaking on Rylan Clark’s new podcast, she said:
Sometimes I do regret it because sometimes it’s good to have a bit of a bush, do you know what I mean?
The star was booted out of the camp shortly after his arrival when he asked his campmates to vote him out as he wanted to go back home to his wife after doing 3 trials.
