Daisy Evans post-S Club 8

Three years after S Club Juniors split, Daisy joined five-piece girl band From Above alongside fellow singers Seyi Shay, Monique Robert, Chelsey Reynolds and Ashley Shaw. Following a UK tour the group was signed by none other than Beyoncé’s dad Mathew Knowles and headed to the US to make an album titled Breaking From Above. They even had their own MTV reality show of the same name.

After the release of their album, the band auditioned for the ninth series of The X Factor in 2012. This caused some controversy as the show is traditionally for undiscovered artists and they already had a manager and album out. However, they were knocked out of the competition at the boot camp stage and haven’t released any more music since.
