Businessman and reality star Mick Norcross has died at the age of 57. Essex Police have confirmed that his body was discovered at his home yesterday afternoon and that his death is not being treated as suspicious.
Mick was the former owner of the Sugar Hut nightclub in Essex, which was popular amongst The Only Way Is Essex stars. Mick had appeared himself in early series of the show alongside his son Kirk. As Mick’s friends and former co-stars have paid tribute to him following his tragic death, they have urged people to talk about mental health and seek support if they are struggling.
‘It’s imperative we talk’
Mark Wright tweeted:
RIP Mick N. You were a great man, an inspiration to many, always so polite and welcoming. Such a gent. We lost a good one. Let this be ANOTHER reason to check in on people and ask if they are ok. It’s imperative we talk. Love to Kirk and the rest of the family such sad news.
Gemma Collins posted her tribute on Instagram:
Mario Falcone credited Mick with helping him through his own struggles with mental health.
