Did Katie Holmes just launch a new trend? It all started on Thursday, February 27th. In the middle of Paris Fashion Week, the beautiful Katie Holmes faced the bad weather on the doorstep of the Grand Palais, to attend Chloé's Fashion Week show.

The 41-year-old actress was wearing a beige coat, with a long nude coloured bohemian-style dress. But it wasn't this dress by Chloé, part of the spring-summer 2020 collection, that caught the attention of photographers and internet users.

Grey roots, a new trend?

No, it wasn't the outfit of Tom Cruise's former wife that caught everyone's eye, but her visible grey roots, which she had chosen not to hide. A choice that was applauded by many internet users.

In terms of make-up, Katie Holmes had opted for a natural and light look. This appearance, which has already made the rounds on the web and has been widely commented on, perhaps marks the beginning of a new era. The actress showed that she was able to break free, with ease, from the many narrow-minded beauty ideals.

For the Chloé Fashion Week show, the mother of little Suri Cruise (13 years old) was placed in the front row, alongside American actress Kate Bosworth, who was accompanied, for the occasion, by her husband Michael Polish, and English model Alexa Chung.

The next day, on Friday, February 28th, it was Audrey Tautou who surprised her many fans by showing off her grey hair during the Balmain Fashion Week show. A few months earlier, Queen Letizia of Spain had also beautifully paved the way by unveiling, on September 12th, in Seville, her first grey hairs. A new trend to, therefore, keep a close eye on.
