However, over the last week, reports have come out detailing Dr Alex George's unfaithful behaviour in which he is said to have sexted several women despite being in a committed relationship with Hecht. According to one close source of the couple:
Alex cheated on Ellie very early on in their relationship but she chose to forgive him and move on. She has really been his rock during a very difficult time for him and decided to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Most recently, Dr Alex George has come out with a vague statement that indirectly addresses the events that have transpired, saying:

While ex-girlfriend of the Love Island star took to social media for the first time to break her silence. In the story, she wrote:
