The Terrible Truth About This Tiger Has Caused Uproar Online

Internet users are furious about a video of a tiger that is chained and forced to open its mouth all day.

In Thailand, at The Million Years Stone Park and Pattaya Crocodile Farm, you can take a picture with a tiger, touch it or even sit on it. The founder of wildlife protection NGO Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand posted a video that shows park staff pushing the animal with a stick to force it to show its fangs, so it looks more fierce in tourists' pictures. On their website, the zoo explains that the public can "establish close contact with our animals, play with them or take pictures with them."

Posted on Monday, December 18, the video quickly spread around the Internet. Edwin Wiek is outraged: "It's time to change the laws!" The post soon garnered more than 2.4 million views, and is still being shared today by angry animal lovers.
