Hours and hours of worry, crying...all for nothing. Rebekah Martinez's mother issued a call for witnesses in the local newspaper on November 18th. She had had no news of her daughter; it was said she had gone to work on a marijuana farm.

A reader of the newspaper quickly recognized Rebekah Martinez. And for good reason, as she was participating in the new season of The Bachelor, a reality TV show well known in the United States and broadcast in France a few years ago.
She explains herself
While her mother worried, Bekah was in the arms of her prince charming, a man named Arie Luyendyk Jr., on the ABC channel, in front of millions of people! The girl, who was finally informed of her mother's search, sent her a message.
'Mom, how many times do I have to tell you that I don't have a network in The Bachelor?'
She even had to laugh at the situation, stating that the 'scariest thing in this whole story was that all her efforts to hide the worst driver's license picture of all time had been dashed.' Rebekah's mother is obviously not a very prominent TV watcher or social media user. During her "disappearance", Rebekah continued to update her Instagram account!
