Good news, the French designer Marielle Maury, based in Montpellier, has created a series of divine dresses made from natural materials which are totally respectful of the environment. The designer uses certified organic fabrics and works out of her workshop in Montpellier.

As for the design, forget about rhinestones and over-the-top embellishments, Marielle creates elegant, simple and light dresses, which you could even wear again someday in other circumstances. The best part? Each piece is unique and can be customised according to the taste of the bride-to-be. The only downside is that one of Marielle's dresses will set you back between £2000 and £3500, and the wait is between 6 and 12 months for the design time.
