This Group Of Friends Made The World’s Biggest Bath Bomb - And Threw It In A Pool

This bath bomb is much bigger than any you’d find in your favourite Lush store, and it’s taking the internet by storm.

900 kilos! That’s the weight of this bath bomb, which was made by a group of colleagues who have a habit of undertaking crazy challenges and filming them. This time, they turned their attention towards a beauty product that’s been a craze for a while now. 31 bags of ingredients weighing in at around 23 kilograms each were needed to build this ball, which seems almost unreal. To make this fizzy cocktail, they mixed corn starch, citric acid, baking soda, and dye.

But most importantly, they spent months building the perfect mould using a wooden sphere and a shell reinforced by paper and glue. Once the base was filled, they packed down the mixture so that it was as compact as possible. After the bath bomb had set, the group of friends used a saw to cut the mould so that they could finally see their bath monster in action. But it’s impossible to throw a ball so large into a bathtub, so they headed to the pool instead. And after hours of work, the bath bomb disappeared into the water.
