To get into the shoes of the Cheesecake Factory waitress, Kaley Cuoco, has generally worn skimpy outfits. But over the years, Penny's wardrobe has become less and less sexy. A wish that came directly from the actress, as she explained in an interview with W Magazine.

Why Kaley Cuoco changed Penny's wardrobe over the seasons

When I started on The Big Bang Theory I was 21. I was playing the cute girl next to the nerds. I only wore shorts or Juicy Couture shorts with the name of the brand written on my butt cheeks.

Kaley Cuoco, who has announced her separation from her husband after three years of marriage. She continued:

And as the years go on—Penny's getting older, Kaley's getting older— all of a sudden it's like, 'Can I have a long-sleeved shirt? Why not trousers? Why not loafers? I never want to see these heels again' I had all the colours of Uggs. I don't think it was hard to wear those shoes and be funny. I think it even helped accentuate the self-loathing.
