We all know long-distance relationships can be hard but it looked like Molly-Mae had moved on VERY quickly when a new man was spotted on her bed in the background of a new video diary this week. Boxer boyfriend Tommy is currently away on a six-week tour but Molly-Mae was quick to assure fans that she wasn’t cheating.

Speaking to camera in a vlog filmed at midnight, she made reference to the mystery man in bed with her, joking:

This is my new boyfriend Jason. I was just saying to him if anyone sees you in the back they're going to be like, 'She's cheating on Tommy!' It's OK. Elly Belly and Jason are together.

Whilst Jason—who bears a striking resemblance to Tommy—is just a long-time friend of Molly-Mae’s, some fans were confused. One commented:

She may not be cheating but is it not a bit strange for her to have another guy in the bed? I don’t know, maybe it’s just me.

Whilst another said:

Omg I actually thought that was Tommy for a second. They look so alike! Molly definitely has a type!

Jason continued to appear throughout the video as he accompanied Molly-Mae on her day filming as a Starbucks ambassador and shopping on Oxford Street. She described the Starbucks gig as her ‘dream job.’ Although Tommy was supposed to be away for six weeks, he made a brief appearance at the end of the video as he popped home to visit her.

Whilst they didn’t win the show, Tommy and Molly-Mae are the only couple from the Love Island 2019 series who are still together just over a year on. Winners Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea parted ways just weeks after leaving the villa last year whilst fellow finalists Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins split at the end of 2020.
