Love Islanders lose half a million due to coronavirus

With no public appearances to go to and sponsorship budgets lower than ever, it's a bad time to be a Love Islander fresh out of the villa. One PR expert says the winter Islanders could be missing out on £500,000 each…

This week, Winter Love Island runners-up Siânnise Fudge and Luke Trotman admitted that they'd been forced to cancel their house purchase as work fell through due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Now, PR expert Jack Cooper has revealed to The Sun just how much Siânnise, Luke and their fellow Love Islanders could be missing out on earning due to the current situation - and it's a lot.

Jack explained:

Brand deals at the moment are at an all-time low, many companies are not able to afford the usual Love Island prices for sponsorship deals. They are also missing out on club appearances due to them being closed, which could have earned them up to £5,000 per hour.

With ITV bosses reportedly determined to go ahead with plans for series 7 either later this summer or, for the first time, in the autumn, the Winter Islanders risk being old news by the time things go back to normal.

But there's a silver lining for those couples who've stayed together as Jack revealed:

People are interested in keeping up to date with what they are doing, especially if they are isolating together. Being in a couple brings up their financial worth, and in some circumstances could secure them a deal of up to £10,000.
