On 15th November 2020, season 4 of the hit series The Crown, which traces the history of the royal family, was released on Netflix. Let's take a stroll down memory lane and admire some of Lady Di’s most iconic outfits and how they were replicated in the series.

During her visit to Uluru in Australia, Lady Diana wore an elegant white dress that suited her perfectly!
The costume designer from The Crown even managed to replicate Lady Diana’s wedding dress. How? By using the design for the princess’ actual wedding dress which was originally designed by Elizabeth and David Emmanuel.
Lady Diana won everyone over with this red dress with thin straps at a gala she attended in 1986. She looked absolutely radiant.
And what’s more, the actress Emma Corrin wore it wonderfully in the series.

For this outfit, the series’ costume designer opted for a strapless dress with a scarf identical to the one worn by Lady Di at the Cannes Film Festival. The only difference is the colour.
However, purple was one of Lady Di’s favourite colours.
