Curtis Admits His ‘Heart Skipped A Beat’ When He Was Reunited With Amy Hart

Love Island 2019 stars Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart have reunited once more as Amy made a surprise appearance on the second episode of ‘AJ Vs Curtis’, a podcast Curtis has started with his brother, who quit his professional partner gig on Strictly Come Dancing last year.

'Move Beyond Words'

Curtis and AJ Pritchard’s new podcast has gotten off to a dramatic start as Curtis’ Love Island ex makes a surprise appearance in episode two. The podcast sees the brothers interviewing guests, chat about current affairs and compete with each other in a weekly quiz–with the loser having to do a forfeit.

Curtis told Lorraine that Amy’s appearance in the second episode of the podcast–which is yet to be released—was a ‘full-on surprise.’ He said:

We started recording and I didn't expect Amy to come on. She popped on and my heart skipped a beat, I didn't know what to say. But it was great, it was a good episode.

Curtis and Amy previously bumped into each other whilst on a night out in London–even taking a smiley selfie together for the occasion. They’ve made it clear that there are no hard feelings between them despite their dramatic on-screen break-up last summer when Curtis betrayed Amy in Casa Amor.

Both Curtis and Amy are currently thought to be single–as Curtis’ relationship with fellow dancer Amber Pierson ended after a brief post-lockdown relationship. Curtis previously split from villa girlfriend Maura Higgins back in March. Meanwhile, Amy has stayed single since leaving the villa–although she’s hinted she might get back together with Kurt McKenna who she met on Celebs Go Dating.

What next for Curtis and AJ?

After spending lockdown together, the podcast isn’t the only new project in the works for Curtis and AJ. They’ve recently announced they’re set to tour the UK with a live entertainment show called Big Night Out in September and October 2021. The variety show will feature dancing, live music from special guests and ‘live interactive games and comedy with exciting prizes to be won.’
