Who will take over Shannen Doherty's role? The lucky lady will be Madeleine Mantock and she will play Macy. She will play the strong sister who will guide her younger sisters by using her practical and brilliant side. Melonie Diaz will replace Holly Marie Combs who is the middle sister named Mel. In the story, she plays a lesbian and an activist. Lastly, who could ever replace the beautiful Alyssa Milano? Sarah Jeffery will be playing the youngest sister, Madison, who will be a college freshman fighting to become a sorority sister but is challenged by her witch powers. Rupert Evans will play a professor who is overly interested in the three sisters similar to the role of Leo who is the whitelighter that's assigned to protect the sisters from evil.

Despite the drastic character changes, the new season is said to be "fierce, funny, and feminist." However, Holly Marie Combs openly shared her opinion on Twitter stating, 'Here's the thing. Until you ask us to rewrite it like Brad Kern did weekly don't even think of capitalizing on our hard work. Charmed belongs to the 4 of us, our vast amount of writers, crews and predominantly the fans. FYI you will not fool them by owning a title/stamp. So bye." A little brutual right?
