Whilst they didn’t come anywhere near winning the show, Jess Shears and Dom Lever have been one of the most successful Love Island couples ever. Whilst Dom stayed in the 2017 villa for 11 days after Jess was dumped, the couple rekindled their romance after he got out and they’ve gone on to marry and have a baby together.

Three years on from their villa meeting, Dom has shared an emotional tribute on Instagram to mark his wife’s 27th birthday. In it, he wrote: ‘Happy birthday to my Wife and the mother of my children not to mention an absolute worldie ! I hope you have an amazing day. Love you ❤️’
Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice the plural ‘children’ in the message and flooded the comments section to ask if Jess and Dom were expecting again. One asked: ‘Is Jess pregnant again with Dom saying children instead of child?’ whilst another wrote ‘Plural made my heart jump’.
Jess and Dom welcomed their first child – a boy – in October 2019. However, they have never publicly announced his name and rarely post photos of him to their socials. Could Dom’s birthday post be a subtle announcement that they’re adding a new little one to their brood?
Well… probably not. Many fans pointed out that Dom might have been referring to the couple’s dogs as their additional children, or to any children they might have in the future. In her own Insta story, Jess revealed she was planning to celebrate her birthday by getting drunk – so she’s probably not expecting.
