Science and nature really do have some surprises up their sleeves for us sometimes. Here it's all about the crystallisation of water. Take a bottle of mineral water and put it in the fridge for 2 hours and 45 minutes exactly. This is the time used by our presenter, but this may vary depending on the size of the bottle and the temperature of your freezer.

Remove the bottle, taking care to check that no ice has formed already. Amazingly, it will now just take a small tap on the bottle to see the ice form before your very eyes. It's like something out of Frozen! If you really want to play at being Elsa, you can even try making ice sculptures like our presenter, by pouring the water onto ice cubes. Kids will be amazed and we have to say, we're pretty impressed too!
