This soldier witnessed his wife giving birth from thousands of miles away

Whilst on a mission in South Korea, one American soldier was able to attend his wife’s delivery… But this man didn’t virtually see just his new-born baby, but his four new-born babies.

At almost 10,000km away, Captain Anthony Burch was able to witness his wife’s delivery. While this military dad from Illinois was in South Korea, he insisted on seeing his wife Mary Pat using FaceTime. And it was a good thing he did because if he hadn’t been in touch with his wife, he would have missed the birth of… his four babies!

And yes, Mary was pregnant with quadruplets. With Captain Burch being in Asia, he couldn’t come back to the United States to see his pregnant wife. But luckily for him, he found a way to be at the touching birth using technology.

It was perfect timing, everything clicked together, and I was able to see the babies as they were getting cleaned off.

Four days later, this father of this large family managed to catch a flight to the United States. He immediately went to thehospital to meet his three new sons Henry, Samuel and Nathanial and his new daughter Molly. He then received leave to return home for good the following summer.
