This Babysitter's Selfless Act Saved The Life Of A Child She'd Known For Three Weeks

The parents of 16-month-old Talia Rosko called babysitter Kiersten 'an angel sent by God' after her amazing courage saved their daughter's life.

Kiersten Miles had only just started working as a summer babysitter for the Roskos when she discovered that the youngest of their children - Talia - was desperately ill and in need of a liver transplant.

On learning this news, Kiersten announced to Talia's shocked parents that she wanted to give part of her own liver to save the little girl's life. Whilst neither of Talia's parents had been a match, miraculously, Kiersten was, and after rounds of medical and psychological evaluations, Kiersten was able to donate.

The surgery was a success and Kiersten says that she 'would 100% do it again.' She and the Roskos hope that their story will educate and inspire others to become organ donors.

Check out the video above for more on Kiersten and Talia's inspirational story!
