Scientists Finally Reveal Whether You Should Be Showering In The Morning Or At Night

When it comes to taking a shower, everyone has their own preference on the time. But whether you prefer showering morning or night, scientists finally tell us what they think.

It turns out that the best time to take a shower depends on your skin type. For those with oily skin, scientists say you should take a shower in the morning so as to clean the excess sebum that your skin has secreted during the night. For those who tend to have dry skin, a shower at night would be better because the epidermis regenerates when you sleep.

There are other less scientific reasons to take into account as well. For example, for those of you who aren’t morning people or like to start the day with some exercise, showering in the morning is necessary. However, for insomniacs or people who do dirty jobs, showering at night would be more practical.

To sum up, it is up to you to decide the best time to take a shower. However, specialists do advise that you don’t take two showers a day because this could lead to your skin becoming too sensitive.
