Genophobia

The fear of sexual intercourse! Yes, believe it or not, there is a fear like this. People with genophobia are scared of indulging in sexual activities even if they want to hit the home run. They might be comfortable with kissing, cuddling or making out but as soon as penetrative sex comes into the picture, they’re out of the scene.

Ithyphallophobia

Probably the most unusual fear, ithyphallophobia is the fear of an erect penis. Down, soldier, back down! Ithyphallophobia can manifest in both men and women. In men, it transforms into a fear of erection, meanwhile, in women, it is the fear of seeing and/or touching an erect penis.

Eurotophobia

The fear of the vagina – the opposite of ithyphallophobia. Oopsie daisy! And like ithyphallophobia it can be both for men and women and have different consequences. Men with eurotophobia fear seeing or coming in contact with the female genitalia and women with eurotophobia fear any kind of sexual stimulation.

Anuptaphobia

This is probably the most common phobia and people might not even know they have it. The fear of being single forever! Yes, we have a term for that feeling. It may stem from being in dysfunctional relationships or any traumatic experience that pushes people on the verge of thinking that they will stay single for the rest of their lives.
