Prince of Wales' Aston Martin runs on food and booze

The vintage automobile, presented to him by Queen Elizabeth for his 21st birthday, allegedly runs on cheese and wine. The 72-year-old is taking a keen interest in sustainable living, he also reduced his meat and dairy consumption.

Prince Charles said this in an interview with BBC:

My old Aston Martin, that runs now on waste products. It runs on—can you believe this—surplus English white wine and whey from the cheese process.

Prince George doesn't approve of littering

The need for climate control runs deep in the royal family. Prince William, in conversation with BBC, reveals how his son George went litter picking and was 'annoyed' by what he found. William stressed on how he didn't want George’s generation to talk about a deteriorating climate, when it ‘will be too late.’

So George at school recently has been doing litter picking, and I didn't realise but talking to him the other day he was already showing that he was getting a bit confused and a bit sort of annoyed by the fact they went out litter picking one day.

Prince William and Kate Middleton's Earthshot Prize

In the recent past, Prince William and Kate Middleton have taken avid interest in the conservation of the environment and about last Sunday, a new initiative called the ‘Earthshot Prize’ was launched. This drive will encourage students to think of substantial solutions to save the environment. It will grant £50million over the next decade.

The Duke of Cambridge said in a statement, after meeting students, last Sunday.

We must inspire in the next generation the optimism, confidence and enthusiasm to chase those solutions.

Prince William in disagreement with Bezos

Right about yesterday, the Duke of Cambridge voiced his disapproval in an interview with BBC about the former Star Trek actor William Shatner, 90, who became the oldest man to fly to space, in a rocket funded by Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos.

William expressed that the priority of great minds should be to save our planet, first:

We need some of the world's greatest brains and minds fixed on trying to repair this planet, not trying to find the next place to go and live!

What is COP26?

Conference of the Parties (COP) was established by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), to stabilize greenhouse gas emissions around the world. The COP26 will be attended by 120 leaders over two weeks, who will test the previous Paris framework to hold global warming to under 2 degrees. The White House has also confirmed that US president, Joe Biden, will be present, which means he may meet the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge.
