Prince Harry is all set to make his first public appearance of 2022 with US-based professional coaching platform, Better Up. The Duke of Sussex became the Chief Impact Officer of the company in 2021 and will be speaking at their virtual conference podcast, alongside long-time family friend Serena Williams.
The Inner Work Day summit will take place on 3 February and it will be a ‘day dedicated to fuelling your personal and professional growth.’ Better Up tweeted saying:
Hear from expert speakers on the importance of self-reflection and cultivating inner creativity, get hands-on with BetterUp Coaches, and more at Inner Work Day.
According to Mail Online, the royal is going to open up about his own personal stories, struggles, and successes which will most likely cover his professional endeavours given the mission of the organisation. However, many are worried that he may once again put the royal family in a difficult position by talking about his experiences working in the institution.
Will he bring up the royal family?
Last year he and his wife, Meghan Markle, gave an explosive interview with Oprah where they talked about the several challenges they faced as part of the monarchy. They even accused an undisclosed member of the family of racial discrimination.
Only time will tell if Prince Harry will once again reveal details about the dark side of the royal family, but royal expert Katie Nicholl seems to think that he is choosing to ‘lay low’ for now. She told Closer magazine:
He's realised how much last year took a toll on his grandmother, and doesn't want to cause any more upset, so is laying low for now.
If Katie’s predictions are right, it means that Prince Harry will most probably hold back from saying anything too outrageous as to not trouble the Queen, who is already burdened with her Platinum Jubilee celebrations and her son’s sex abuse scandal.
