This sad event will be broadcast live and both the British and the whole world will be able to follow it from their homes. This will certainly be the case for Meghan Markle, who was unable to make the trip to London. Pregnant with her second child at the age of 39, the Duchess of Sussex did not receive approval from her doctors to fly. But according to a source close to the former Suits actress, there was another reason for her absence. ‘She didn't want to be the centre of attention,’ a source told the Daily Mail.

A little girl born in June

This absence has been accepted by Her Majesty. The unnamed source continued:

She said the Queen understands her absence and would like her to stay safe and well for the baby.

A logical choice for Prince Harry's wife, who suffered a miscarriagea few months ago. To make sure the baby girl will be born at term, Meghan Markle will have to rest. And the delivery is scheduled for very soon, according to information from the Daily Mail and the Sunday Telegraph. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's second child is expected to be born in June.

Doria Ragland's daughter is expected to start her maternity leave within four weeks at the latest. In his speech in tribute to his grandfather, Prince Harry did not hesitate to mention Meghan Markle. Archie's dad said:

You will be sorely missed, but the nation and the world will remember you. Meghan, Archie, and I (and your future great-granddaughter) will always have a special place in our hearts for you.

A much-anticipated great-granddaughter whose birth will certainly bring happiness to the hearts of the Windsor clan.
