Watch out Molly Mae, Kate and Wills have launched their own YouTube channel! The Cambridges have expanded their social media portfolio, which already included an official Instagram and Twitter account, with a brand new official YouTube channel, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

William and Kate’s YouTube channel

They started the channel with a 25-second video titled ‘Welcome to our YouTube channel!’ Posted on 5th May, it has already received over a million views. The video features a montage of clips of Kate and Prince William at a variety of engagements, including William presenting the FA Cup and Kate visiting a school.

What will the Cambridges share on their YouTube channel?

The Royal Family already has an official YouTube account that Kate and William have previously shared videos on, including their St. Patrick’s Day message when Kate wore that Zara blazer. However, it looks like the Cambridges’ own YouTube channel might be less formal, with some behind-the-scenes footage featuring in the first video.

The video starts with the couple sitting on a sofa, with William jokingly warning Kate:

Be careful what you say now because these guys are filming everything.

Their debut YouTube video also features an outtake from the St. Patrick’s Day message, with Kate telling William:

You don’t need to roll your Rs’.

The second video on the Cambridges’ YouTube channel is entitled Shielding Mila and is set to be released this afternoon and will show ‘the first of a series of telephone calls that The Duchess held with participants from the Hold Still project.’ Hold Still was a community photography project to capture moments from the first coronavirus lockdown started by the Kate Middleton.
