A special day means a special present. Kate Middleton wished her husband, Prince William, a happy Father's Day on Sunday 20 June in a tender publication. In a photo montage published on their Instagram account Kensingtonroyal, the Duchess of Cambridge paid a special tribute to the father of her three children Charlotte, George and Louis. Captioned: 'Wishing fathers everywhere a happy Father's Day,' the creative and animated post reveals a never-before-seen shot of William surrounded by his happy tribe.

According to Hello Magazine, the picture in question was taken during Trooping the Colour in June 2019. In the shot, Prince Harry's brother poses in the ceremonial uniform of the Irish Guards while holding Prince Louis, then taking his first steps onto the royal balcony. While Princess Charlotte poses smiling beside her father, placing her left hand tenderly on his shoulder, Prince George shows his affection for his father by wrapping his arms around him.

Prince William: a doting father
This post is again a testament to William's unconditional love for his three little ones. Although he was 'terrified' of becoming a father, the Duke of Cambridge couldn't help but express his joy at being a father in an interview with Talk Vietnam in 2016:
It's been a big change for me personally. I'm very lucky with the support I have from Catherine, she's an incredible mother and a fantastic wife.
Because even though he has commitments and honours his official outings with his wife, the heir to the throne makes sure he keeps some free time for his children. Proof that fatherhood means a lot to him, William does not hesitate to get his hands dirty during culinary workshops with Charlotte, George and Louis, as he confided on 16 June 2020 during a visit to a bakery.
