The dogs were retrieved from a property in Leland, North Carolina, even though the owner had abandoned their house and their pets in order to flee Hurricane Florence.

A courageous act

In a video of the rescue mission, we can see these six big dogs barking, desperately asking for help, while their rescuer Ryan Nichols, painstakingly entered the water to get to the locked kennel. Once the door opened, the poor animals scrambled out of their cage, wagging their tails and heading straight for their rescuers.

Hurricane

The flooding in North Carolina has caused some significant damage, jeopardizing not only the residents on the coast but also… their pets.
