Thomas Markle has reached new heights of betrayal after he decided to release the private letter that his daughter Meghan wrote to him by hand. The story goes back to last August, when Meghan wrote the letter to her father, pairing it with an olive branch as a symbol of reconciliation. At the time, the relationship between Meghan Markle and her father was already struggling, amidst her father's premeditated stunt with the paparazzi and his decision not to attend his daughter's wedding in her union to Prince Harry.

Despite the tension, the Duchess of Sussex decided to write him a letter in an attempt to patch things up, just a swift three months after the royal wedding in May of last year. Fast forward to last Sunday (10th February), Mr Markle has made the decision to let the five-page letter out into the open, allowing a full transcript to be published via Daily Mail.
"Daddy, it is with a heavy heart that I write this," began Meghan in her letter. "Your actions have broken my heart into a million pieces - not simply because you have manufactured such unnecessary and unwarranted pain, but by making the choice to not tell the truth as you are puppeteered in this," she continued.
Inside the five pages of the candidly-written text, Meghan made a heart-wrenching demand for her father to stop addressing her via the press and assures him that she has always been there for him: "I have only ever loved, protected, and defended you, offering whatever financial support I could worrying about your health (…) If you love me, as you tell the press you do, please stop."
Unfortunately for Meghan Markle, this letter obviously didn’t help improve the situation. Out of any response she could have gotten,Thomas Markle merely asked her for a photograph together as a feeble attempt at putting an end to rumors. It was after this unexpected reaction that the Duchess has decided to cut all ties with her estranged father.
