Jack Fowler was one of our favourite Islanders this summer with his incredible dance moves and unique charm. Even though some of his behaviour verged on the muggy, overall he came out of Love Island seeming like a pretty decent guy.

He and Laura Crane, who he coupled up with on the show, didn't last very long outside of the villa but their split was almost certainly the most amicable of all the ex-Love Island couples as they posted joint statements, wished each other well and vowed to remain friends.
So us fans were pretty devastated when we found out that Jack wouldn't be taking part in the Christmas reunion. It seemed like Jack was pretty unimpressed too as he hinted on Twitter that he hadn't even been invited by producers by retweeting complaints from disappointed fans.
However, it now seems that Jack had a very good reason for not appearing on the show - and honestly we're totally OK with it now.
