While Love Island is the nation’s most-watched reality TV show, this doesn’t necessarily mean that viewers are buying into any of the content played out on screen, and for good reason according to one insider source.

A source revealed that Molly admitted to other islanders that the thought of kissing Tommy made her sick, and the way she acted in the villa often caused the others to question her motives on the show.

“It wasn’t just one person. Everyone was suspicious of her motives from the outset. So she did have to field a lot of awkward questions about why she was there. Furthermore, it has come to light that other contestants thought she was faking it.

“Molly ever confessed to the others that she was playing a game but she also never managed to convince them that she was there for genuine reasons…Molly’s job as an Instagram influencer didn’t help matters because the islanders felt that the fact she is paid to have a social media profile spoke volumes.”

Despite the conflicting statements, a spokesman for the reality star has slammed the rumours stating, “She has gone there to find love and we have no doubt Molly and Tommy are genuinely attracted to one another.”
