Despite the fact it launched her to fame, Megan Barton Hanson has admitted that she wants to leave reality TV firmly in her past, and she has her sights set on becoming Britain's next Stacey Dooley.
Since first appearing on screens back in 2009 in BBC Three's documentary series Blood, Sweat and T-Shirts, Stacey Dooley has travelled the world bringing us documentaries on hard-hitting topics including sex trafficking, domestic violence, war and child exploitation. In 2018, she won a One World Media Award for an episode of Stacey Dooley Investigates in which she came face to face with an ISIS soldier.
Becoming a hard-hitting documentarist would certainly be a world away from life in the Love Island villa and posing for Instagram promotions, but Megan reckons she's got what it takes thanks to what she calls her 'interesting past'.
Megan has already used her platform to speak out about issues surrounding sex work and mental health problems, often speaking candidly about her own struggles with anxiety.
One thing is for sure - it looks like Megan definitely won't be heading back into the Love Island villa this summer as some have been speculating she might following her split from Wes Nelson.
'My days of reality are done,' Megan told Heart Radio.
