Avon's new Stand4Her campaign is a global initiative launched to tackle the issues holding women back in their everyday lives. Megan Barton Hanson has been chosen as one of the faces of the campaign's Perfect Nudes collection, alongside burns survivor Catrin Pugh, 60-year-old influencer Lucia Whitehouse and Gary Thompson, a male beauty influencer.

Speaking about the campaign, Megan said: 'When I came out of Love Island, I was shocked at the volume of cruel comments that I had received about the way I looked, my decision to have plastic surgery, and how I decided to change my body. I even received death threats...
I’m so excited to be working with Avon on this campaign, because I want to send out the message that it’s OK to be different, you don’t have to conform to archaic female stereotypes, whether that relates to the job that you do, how you dress, or whether you choose to have surgery and wear makeup.'
However, Megan's first post about the campaign on her Instagram attracted a barrage of abuse, as fans criticised her for being hypocritical - both about embracing natural beauty and about supporting other women - especially after her infamous outburst against Vanessa Bauer.
Never one to let these sorts of comments go, Megan responded directly in her usual direct fashion - and she didn't hold back on criticising Vanessa once again. The comment has now been deleted but not before plenty of fans had the chance to see it.
