They are the third couple from Love Island 2018 to announce their split since leaving the show.
Following on from Samira Mighty's explosive split from love rat Frankie and Laura and Paul's sad split last week, Jack Fowler and Laura Crane have become the third Love Island 2018 couple to call time on their relationship.
Jack made the announcement on his Instagram story on Sunday, saying: 'It is with regret that I announce Laura and I have decided to go our separate ways. This has been a very difficult decision but one that we have reached together.'
He went on to promise that they will remain friends, ending his message 'See you soon Surfer Girl!'
Later on, Jack posted a video from a PA to his story, writing that it had been a 'rough day', presumably in reference to the break-up.
Laura spoke to Metro.co.uk about their decision, saying 'Sadly Jack and I have both decided to go our separate ways due to such busy schedules right now and not having the time to spend together. Feel truly blessed to have got to share my Love Island experience with him and to have made a friend for life. We will carry on supporting each other on this journey and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.’
This has to be one of the most civil Love Island break-ups we've ever witnessed, even if it is still a bit sad. We hope they really do remain good friends!
