Eloise Head, who posts on TikTok under the handle @fitwaffle introduced her version of the recipe for Oreo sushi on her account where she shares recipes and food hacks. She also left a comment on her video about what to name the recipe. She says,
OK, strong debate on the Oreo Sushi name! What do you call it… Oreo Sushi, Oreo Roll, Swiss Roll, Swushi Oreolls, or Oreolls ?
It seems 'Oreo Sushi' has since caught on as a name for the dessert.

The cool thing about this dessert is that you only need two ingredients to make Oreo sushi at home.
- Oreo cookies
- Milk
Directions
- Separate the Oreo cookies and cream
- Put the cookies inside a plastic bag and smash them until they have been finely grounded up
- Add milk to the powdered cookies and make a thick paste that resembles raw cookie dough
- Take the separated cream and add just enough milk to turn it into a thick paste
- Put the cookie paste between two Saran wraps and roll it out just like you would roll sushi rice
- Over the flattened cookie dough, add the Oreo cream paste and spread it out evenly
- Roll this dough up tightly, just like you would roll a sushi
- Refrigerate it for about 1 hour
- Slice up this rolled dough into small sushi shaped bites
- Your Oreo sushi bites are ready to be devoured
