McDonald’s chicken items are among the best-selling things on the menu. McDonald’s has been offering fans some awesome deals on the McDonald’s App over the last couple of weeks, but it is always super handy to have some tricks up your sleeve to score your favourite McDonald’s items for cheap.

A TikToker @rightguysreview just shared the hack he uses to get extra Chicken Select from McDonald's for just 9p. @rightguysreview shares food hacks and reviews on his platform to his audience of over 1.2 million followers.

McDonald’s Chicken Select

Chicken Selects are strips of tender chicken breast in a seasoned, crispy coating and makes for the best finger foods. These are priced at £3.89 for three at the fast-food restaurant.

As per the video posted by @rightguysreview, instead of paying the mentioned price, he uses another way to get better value off his purchase. He orders the ‘Wrap of the Day,’ which customers can customise as they want.

Instead of purchasing a real wrap, the TikToker forgoes the bacon, mayo, lettuce, tomato, smoky barbecue sauce and the tortilla wrap, and just gets the two Chicken Selects inside. Ordering two of these wraps gets him four Chicken Selects for £3.98 which means he got an extra chicken strip for 9p.

Reactions to the video

People have had mixed reactions to the hack with some people unable to come to terms with someone ordering a whole wrap to then only have the chicken strips.
