Aldi is giving away £500 for King Charles' coronation: Here's how you can get it

King Charles' coronation is slated to happen early May amidst much fan-fair. The Buckingham Palace has issued the invitation for the Coronation, where over 2,000 guests who will form the congregation that will be present for the historic moment at Westminster Abbey.

As the whole country is preparing for the festivities, some businesses are finding unique ways to join in on the celebrations. As per a press release by Aldi, Aldi customers have a great reason to rejoice as the supermarket has announced that it will be giving out £500 to help their shoppers celebrate the royal coronation in style.

Aldi giving away £500 vouchers

According to the announcement by Aldi, it is giving away £500 in Aldi vouchers to 10 lucky winners. This is so they can purchase food, drinks, and decorations for any street parties they are planning to host in order to celebrate the grand occasion.

This is not all Aldi is doing to celebrate the coronation. The brand also launched Coronation-inspired range that contains party essentials, such as its Specially Selected Coronation Chicken Pizza, Specially Selected English Sparkling Rosé and limited-edition beers, as well as bunting, balloons and flags.

Richard Thornton, Communications Director at Aldi UK, is quoted as saying,

We know how much people love to come together to celebrate special occasions, and it really is something us Brits do best.

We hope our vouchers help communities across the country get into the spirit for this momentous event with street parties fit for a King!

To enter the competition, you need to visit Aldi's Facebook page. All you need to do to win, is tag your local community Facebook group or a friendly neighbour for a chance at the big prize.

Entries are open from now until 11:59pm on the 27th April. Winners will be contacted by Aldi on 28th April which will allow plenty of time for them to plan their coronation party and celebration day.
