Things have gone downhill for Johnny Depp since he separated from Amber Heard which was a long and strenuous divorce that included domestic violence accusations in 2016. Even though the divorce has been finalized, the two are still today regularly attacking each other with heinous statements. And it seems nothing is going right for Johnny Depp since a new assault charge has been filed that will taint the actor’s reputation even more.

A director presses charges
Johnny Depp has once again been sued for assault and according to the online newspaper Figaro, Gregg Books, a director who had worked with Johnny Depp on his last film, has pressed charges after the actor punched him in the ribs. A film crew member has stated that Depp appeared intoxicated as he shouted obscenities and then ‘angrily and forcefully’ punched Brooks twice in the rib cage. Worse still, Johnny Depp then offered a large sum of money to Gregg Brooks for him to hit him back and forget the whole thing. Three days afterwards, Gregg was fired from the production after he refused to let it go and made his intentions to press charges clear. The director of City of Lies has since decided to postpone the film’s release date.
